Rules and Regulations
We’re committed to making Freedom Fest a safe, family-friendly, and fun experience for everyone. Please review the following rules and regulations to help ensure a positive environment for all attendees.
General Event Rules

Clear bags only – All bags must be transparent and subject to search upon entry.

NO outside food or beverages – Food and drink must be purchased from on-site vendors or Square merchants.

NO coolers – Coolers of any size will not be permitted.

NO weapons of any kind – This includes concealed carry; law enforcement only.

NO pets allowed – For everyone’s safety, please leave pets at home. (Service animals permitted per ADA guidelines.)

Children must be supervised – Guardians are responsible for minors at all times.
Alcohol Policy

You must be 21+ to consume alcohol – A valid photo ID is required.

Wristbands are required – Purchase a $2 wristband at the Information Tent, Beer Truck, or participating restaurants on the Square.

Alcohol must stay in official event cups – Beverages must be in the designated clear event cups.

Stay within the green event zone – Alcoholic drinks must remain within the outlined, permitted event space.
Vendors & Media

Vendor participation is by approval only – All vendors must register in advance and be licensed through the City. No unauthorized tents, tables, or selling.

Media & photography – Media professionals and photographers must be pre-approved. Contact lcanada@cityoflaurenssc.com for credentials and an official event lanyard.
Parking & Accessibility

ADA parking is available – A limited number of accessible parking spaces will be available. Vehicles must display a valid ADA placard or license plate at all times.

General parking – Free parking will be available at the old Chevrolet dealership and in public lots surrounding the Square.

A detailed event map with parking, boundaries, restrooms, and key locations will be posted soon.

Photography & Video Notice
Smile, you’re on camera!
By entering the festival grounds, you acknowledge that photos and video may be taken during the event. These images may be used by the City of Laurens and its partners for purposes including, but not limited to, news coverage, promotional materials, and social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify a member of event staff upon arrival.

Seating & Lawn Chairs
Smile, you’re on camera!
Lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged! Please plan to bring your own for a comfortable evening of live entertainment. Designated chair-friendly areas will be marked on the Plaza.
The existing tables and chairs on the Plaza will be rearranged throughout the event space to make room for attendees and improve traffic flow.
