Freedom Fest returns Thursday, July 3rd, lighting up the heart of Downtown Laurens with live music, family fun, and a fireworks finale that’s bigger and brighter than ever before.

Whether you're here for the food, the music, or the unbeatable party atmosphere, you won't want to miss the most exciting Independence celebration in the Upstate.

Downtown Laurens will transform into a high-energy dance party as the sun sets. A new stage setup in front of City Hall will feature lights, motion, and color—creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration.

Headlining this year’s event is Steel Toe Stiletto, one of the Upstate’s premier bands, known for their powerhouse vocals, infectious energy, and a setlist full of chart topping hits. Also joining the entertainment lineup is AJ the DJ, spinning feel-good favorites and keeping the vibe upbeat as the crowd fills the Square.

Before the party gets started, lovers of traditional patriotic music will be entertained by Davidson Brass, a family favorite feature of City of Laurens’ events. As part of the celebration, the City will honor our nation's heroes with a moving veterans tribute—a tradition that celebrates the heart and meaning of Freedom Fest.

Families can enjoy a lively Kid Zone, featuring balloon animals, face painting, and interactive games from Big Air Laurens—guaranteed fun for kids of all ages.

Food trucks and festive drink specials will fill the Square—but the real taste of Laurens comes from our downtown merchants. From signature bites at local restaurants to shopping deals, our Square is the place to discover the flavor, flair, and charm that make Laurens one-of-a-kind.

As always, we’ll wrap the night with our biggest fireworks show yet! Bring your lawn chairs, bring your friends, and bring your best red, white, and blue. Downtown Laurens is ready to celebrate, and we’re saving you a spot!
